Data Communications

All data communications technologies are supported by Micra Design's capabilities. These include wireless VHF, UHF, Spread Spectrum and microwave radios, GSM, GPRS and CDPD cellular systems, Ethernet and ModBus Plus LAN's and Fiber Optic links. In addition to the hardware requirements of these data communications systems, an in depth knowledge of the data communications protocols is supported.

Some of the protocols supported are DNP3, IEC 60870 101 and 103, Modbus, Modbus Plus, TCP, Cooper 2179, L&G 8979, Beckwith, Transdata, and a number of other legacy IED protocols.
